Leave a Lasting Legacy for Those in Need

Rudolph Nickisher was a longtime, dedicated member of St. Elizabeth of Hungary Catholic Church in Whitehall, PA. A proud veteran, he served with the US Navy in the South Pacific during WWII aboard the submarine USS Tunny. Mr. Nickisher was also passionate about the disaster relief efforts of Catholic Charities USA (CCUSA), and his legacy gift ensured that we would be responsive to disasters even after his lifetime. When Mr. Nickisher created his will, he remembered CCUSA in a special way by leaving us a percentage of his estate so we could continue to help victims of hurricanes, tornadoes, floods and other severe weather around the United States. Last year, CCUSA distributed $6.3M in disaster funds through local Catholic Charities agencies across the country.
